I Love several 80s movies, so I decided the best way to honor them is by choosing my favorite scenes! I hope you guys enjoy, and let me know what YOU consider to be awesome 80s movie moments.

Dirty Dancing: I gotta go with the scene at the movie's end...how could you not love it? Johnny comes back to dance with Baby and they ACTUALLY mastered the lift that they could never do before.

The Breakfast Club: My favorite scene is the one right after Claire gave Allison her makeover and she's walking towards Andrew. The way his face lights up after seeing her for the first time post-makeover is just wonderful! I want a guy to look at me like that. (Yes, I'm ignoring the fact that he did NOT look at her like that when she was just being herself instead of a Claire clone.)

Back to the Future: I love the scene where Marty first meets the younger version of his mom when he goes to the past. It's so funny how she thinks his name's Calvin Klein because it's on his underwear, lol. And how awkward would it be if your parent developed a crush on you?

The Little Mermaid: The scene where Ariel rescues Eric is probably my fave. She wistfully sings to the unconscious Eric, her angelic voice waking him up. It's a very sweet and lovely scene.

Sixteen Candles: Any scene with John Cusack! Yes, I know he only had a small part, but he rocks! I always found him to be super cute in this film, even though he was playing a nerd. I love when he and his other geeky friend take pictures of Farmer Ted and Caroline, lol.

Say Anything: The scene where Lloyd lifts the boombox right outside Diane's window as "In Your Eyes" plays...so romantic. Plus, John Cusack is such a cutie, especially in this scene. Sigh, I want my own Lloyd!

Ferris Bueller's Day Off: The Chicago parade scene is just priceless. What else is there to say except Ferris rocks!

Pretty in Pink: Of course I'm going with the scene where Duckie serenades Andie in Iona's shop, lip-syncing to "Try a Little Tenderness". Soooo freakin' hilarious! Gotta love the quirky and funny Duckie, so why didn't Andie? Hmmmm...I'm not even gonna talk about the ending.

Okay, that's enough for one blog post...besides I got tired, lol. But I'll continue the rest (trust me, there are plenty of other 80s movies I love) sometime soon!
